Profile

A personal press for service in the cause of preserving and advancing human liberty, through freedom of the press and continued readability through print on paper. Herity owns the Kelmscott/Goudy press on which William Morris produced the heavier signatures of his famous Chaucer. The largest Albion, especially reinforced for Morris, it was brought to America by Fred Goudy for his Village Press, and was subsequently owned by Melbert B. Cary, Jr., and his Press of the Woolly Whale.
