I am looking to correspond with several letterpress printers who use Golding Official #2 presses or similar table top presses that take the same size roller as the Official. I am willing to send a 6-12 printers 2 rollers each to fit the Official absolutely free. This is not a gimmick, but I guess there is a “catch”. I am making new rollers for these machines and I need feedback from printers regarding their performance. You may keep the two rollers I send to you at the end of the 30 day trial. Here is the fine print:
I will send you a set of 2 rollers absolutely free (including shipping) if you agree to the following:
1. That you print commercially or that you run enough paper through your machine to give these rollers a real work out.
2. That you fill out a short survey/questionnaire at the end of 30 days of use noting your opinion of these rollers.
3. That if you are satisfied with the performance of the rollers, I will probably ask you to leave them on your machine for a longer period of time and report how they perform.
4. That you give me your permission to use any of the written feedback you provide in this survey in marketing these rollers.
If you want two free rollers and agree to #s 1-4 above, please contact me. I’ll be happy to answer any questions you have. I have been casting rollers for commercial/industrial purposes for some time now and I am a part-part-part time printer.
