Falling fonts
Hi to everyone, I have a technical problem: when I compose a block of giustified text I fix it using the lace, or quoins, but charaters fall down or move at the extreme sides of the form. What can I do to block better all? Thanks

Quads.
Yes, I use quads and leads but it is not enough. How can I translate the italian word -taccheggio-? I fill all spaces using little pieces of paper.

Use quads at both ends of your lines. Increase the line meassure to fit them in. Use leading between the lines.
Little pieces of paper? Do you mean paper thins (1/2-pt, 1-pt), or…?
Gerald
Now I understand, yes I will try using quads at the end of the line, thanks!! I must to use a lead longer too.
Yes I mean that, paper thins.
