Responsibilities:
Operate printing press to produce occasion items, make adjustments to the machine, inspects finished product for quality, periodically washes cylinder with solvent, changes ink and die cuts per instructions, proofread product to ensure copy is correct, may pull appropriate amount of stock for various orders.
Technical or Specialized Knowledge
•Heidelberg/windmill operator experience with a discerning eye for the art of letterpress
•Printing industry knowledge
•Attention to detail to ensure quality product.
•Ability to discern between different color shades.
•Mechanically inclined
•Good eye-hand coordination
•Ability to pick out fine details.
•Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
