JH Cranston Drum-Cylinder Press

We are looking for an interested/serious buyer for a J.H. Cranston Printing Press. It was used for the Mercer County Star, at the time, later becoming The Hazen Star.

Located in the original Mercer County Star, built in the early 1900’s. The press seems to be in good condition, despite the wear and tear of the building over the past 100 years.

There are plans to have the building torn down by the end of October 2013, as myself and others are salvaging as much as we can to the bare bones, we would like to see the Cranston Press have a new life.

If no buyer by then, we will move the press into storage and continue to look for a buyer. Of course, we would like to just do one move, onto the buyer’s trailer :-)
