Wild Ink Press is a small letterpress studio in Chico, California.
We are seeking a part-time press operator. We are willing to train if necessary. No prior printing experience is required, but a love of paper, old processes and letterpress is crucial. Job is part-time to start, 25-30 hours per week, with possible expansion to full-time as our business grows. Pay is commensurate with experience.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Paper cutting
Ink mixing
Plate setting
Press maintenance & care
Printing, foiling and die-cutting on our two Heidelberg windmills.
