Alert rotary press, up and running :) Thanks to all who helped me get this done

My 1875 Gorham alert full rotary press is up and running, you can see a video on You Tube, titled “Alert rotary press, up and running :)”. I would like to thank all of the people at Briar press for all of your help and information. I would especially like to thank Chuck Field for keeping this press together with all of its parts to be used as it was meant to be used and allowing me to purchase it in its entirety, Pete at Old City Press for sending me to Denny at Advanced rollers. Denny for the perfectly fitting rollers, and wonderful customer service. Rick Von Holdt from the Foolproof Press for the information he sent me on my press. And most of all Speed Gray for being the best instructor a new press student could ask for, and Ellen Gray for being such a lovely hostess and new friend :)

Thanks for posting the Youtube video. That looks like a nice press to run. It opens up fairly wide and stays open for a good amount of time between impressions. Congratulations! Don’t forget to always use the safest way of doing everything, and have fun with it!
