This is an amazing collection of Hamilton cabinets with nearly every drawer filled with lead type. Included are 4 single cabinets and 3 double cabinets. Two of the double cabinets are meant to sit back to back with a slanted shelf on top for arranging type. Each cabinet has a working light over the drawers. Some of the fonts included are Craw Clarendon and Modern, Garamond Bold and Italic, Bernhard and Italic, Mono Gothic, Bodoni, Goudy, Spartan (condensed,ultra bold,italic,black), Cydian, Franklin Gothic, Stymie, Onyx, Glamour, Balloon, business logos for advertisements, and many many more. I estimate that there is 4000 pounds of type here. I have an excel file I can send you with every drawer’s contents. I am looking to sell as a single lot. Not interested in splitting anything up.
$14000 for the entire lot of cabinets filled with type. Not easy to find an entire print shop worth of type and cabinets all in one place. You could be very close to starting a business with this set.
