Hand-moulds made in Leiden, NL

Dear colleagues,

In the coming months there will be a number of typographer’s moulds produced in a technical school in Leiden, NL similar to the one you can see in the picture.
This moulds have already been made in the past by the same people and are currently used for type casting at the Plantin-Moretus Museum.

They will be working devices able to cast metal type. The price will be around 1000 Euros each.
For the team coordinating the project (Gerard Post van der Molen and Ramiro Espinoza) this is a non-profit thing. Only the technicians involved will be paid for their work.

If you are *seriously* interested in owing a hand mould, please drop me an email at: http://www.re-type.com/contact/
**Please state the size of your mould in points (make it clear if they are Pica or Didot points).

Thanks in advance.
