Intertype Magazine Rack

G’day folks…..I’m trying to construct a rack for my Intertype magazines and am wondering if anyone has done such a thing or may have an idea of some possible options in making one from wood or metal or whatever. Thanks very much for any input you might have……cheers….db

I have several racks all of them in steel with rollers and belts to carry each mag. 6m, 12m, 24m. Can you wait til spring? I am in FL for winter without pics. The best way to build is with metal and belts so mags can slide in. Bob

An Intertype rack can be much simpler than the high-end Reid-type belted racks. I’ve got one that just has U-channels with a slat of hardwood sitting in each, on which the magazine rests (with an Intertype magazine stored upside down). OK in a low-use situation.

Thanks very much for your replies…..given the speed at which I accomplish things, it will be at least spring before I get at it…..I must say, I am intrigued by the U-channel and hardwood slat idea….

Dave, I have a few Intertype racks for trade/sale if you’re interested. I’m in Connecticut.
