Letterpress, Prosecco & Poetry: BookArtsLA celebrates 5 Year

Saturday, April 20, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Please join us for a double “fifth” celebration: BookArtsLA’s fifth birthday and the publication of Jim Natal’s fifth poetry collection, Spare Room. There will be birthday cake and prosecco, and because April is National Poetry Month, there will be a poetry reading, and all guests will receive a broadside of one of Jim’s haibun poems printed on our letterpress. Come for the party and stay for the ink in Los Angeles’ premier book arts space.

This special event is presented admission free and is open to all. A portion of all sales of Spare Room, will be donated to BookArtsLA.

Jim Natal is the author of two collections of poems in contemporary haibun form, the new Spare Room: Haibun Variations and 52 Views, as well as three previous lyric collections, including Memory and Rain.
