Hiring Press Operator

Studio on Fire is a St. Paul-based company committed to creating artisan printing and packaging solutions. With a staff of nearly 30 people — from our cool and collected client services team and accomplished design staff, to our press operators with decades of experience refining their craft — we have a best-in-class group of employees. While we are always on the lookout for people who love making things, we are currently looking to fill the positions listed below. Our work environment is very casual with a fast paced schedule and lots of opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities and Duties Could Include (depending on experience):
- Running letterpress jobs on our Heidelberg cylinders and windmills
- Running foil jobs on our Saroglias, Kluges and Geitz
- Diecutting jobs on our Saroglias, Kluges and Kamma
- Executing trims on our electric guillotine
- Assorted tasks as needed

- Previous pressroom experience is desired, but we are willing to train
- A good attitude is a must
- Must be self-motivated
- Attention to detail and focus on quality is crucial
- Ability to stand most of the day and lift fairly heavy paper stacks

- A full-time schedule at a starting rate of $17.00per hour, negotiable based on previous experience

- this is a full-time (40hr/wk), on-site position
- work hours are 9:30am to 6pm, M-F
- this is an on-site position and cannot be remote
