Thornwillow is looking for an experienced Heidelberg Flatbed Cylinder Letterpress Operator. Full Time, Part time, or Project Based.
Work will include printing book forms from polymer plates on an S series or KS series Heidelberg letterpress. While eager to add a full time person to the team, part time and project based help would also be most welcome. Affordable housing for ongoing employees and guest housing for project based workers available near the press in Newburgh, New York.
Since 1985 Thornwillow has been a printer and publisher of handmade limited edition books and maker of fine engraved stationery, invitations and announcements. All of the letterpress printing, engraving and binding is done at the press. Thornwillow books are in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum, the Smithsonian, and the White House among many others.
We are eager to find at least some project based help immediately, so please share this opportunity with potentially interested and qualified people.
