The Center for Book Arts is dedicated to the preservation of traditional bookmaking practices, as well as encouraging contemporary interpretations of the book as an art object. The Center offers an extensive schedule of classes, exhibitions and public programs related to bookbinding, letterpress printing, papermaking, and other associated arts. The Center has trained and provided affordable studio space for numerous letterpress printers and bookbinders.
