Profile

Founded at Lancaster, Pennsylvania by Leo, Denis and Gregory in 1968. Now located in Minnesota, after a short time in New Haven, the press room has a few modest fonts, ornaments and a creaky old 6x10 Kelsey with home-cast compo rollers. We print small stuff in small quantities. Our motto is “ad Laudem et Dei Gloriam” (LDG).

2016 update: The description of the press remains mostly the same, except that the creaky old Kelsey has a good, new home in St Louis and we have upgraded to a C&P Pilot. [The name of the press is pronounced “ledden-greyg,” with all puns intended.]

2024 update: After 28 years in our basement location and after 58 years in various locations (Lancaster, Penna. 1966, to New Haven, Conn. 1979, to Mankato, Minn. at Twin Pines 1996) The Löedengreg Press has moved (thank you to K and S for the help! ) to its new location above ground to the cottage at Pine Knoll, also in Mankato.
