Redwood Chappel

An organization of letterpress printers which was started in the mid- 1970’s by Lewis Pryor of Arcata, California, now Father Emeritus of the Chappel. Originally based in Humboldt County, the location of Redwood National Park, The Redwood Chappel now has members located in other parts of California and in the Pacific Northwest. The Chappel normally meets twice a year, produces an annual calendar, and twice a year distributes a bundle of printing samples done by chappel members.
