Dutch Museum of Lithography Nederlands Steendrukmuseum

This museum is dedicated to the history of stone lithographic printing. The museum is located in a restored monumental hospital in Valkenswaard, just South of the city of Eindhoven on the frontier between the Netherlands and Belgium. On display are (among many different items) 3 big cylinderpresses and around 10 wooden or iron handpresses all in working printing condition. There is also a working replica of the first wooden handpress built by Senefelder the inventor of stone lithography. Most of the presses have been demonstrated and were printing litho’s.
