I’m going to take a wild guess that by “the letterpress” you mean “a printing press” and that by “emboss dies” you mean “type”. If that’s the case you’re probably looking for “a chase”. If you’re new to printing, learn a little before jumping in.
Sorry, the emboss is a die that pushes the paper in or out (deboss), so only type is involved if there is already printed type in that area, but blind emboss would be without any ink. Generally we print offset and then either emboss (out-source at this point), diecut (we do in-house). We would like to do our own embossing / debossing, but don’t know what the part is that holds the emboss / deboss dies. It’s not a chase - we use that for the type blocks we print with on the letterpress.

A toggle hook is what locks the die into the honeycomb base.

Thank you Casey. We don’t know what that looks like yet, but at least now we have a name to research for the part.
It all depends on the heating base, and there are other kinds beside honeycomb. Are the holes threaded? Might use bunter posts.
