Roller Sizes for a Cropperette No1

I have a Cropperette No1 as detailed in the Briar Bress museum photographs, does anyone know the correct size for the rollers. The photo in the museum shows, what looks like a leather strip running around the rollers bearing edge, would this be the correct method of setting up / calibrating the press. I have the original stocks but they are very worn and need replacing. do the rollers not have a truck?
