As the name indicates, this impressive museum houses a wide variety of exhibits from railway history to an Air and Space Hall, textiles, photography and printing.
The Printing Gallery includes the distinctive Columbian Press and printing equipment made by Manchester firms, such as T. C. Thompson & Son. Printing demonstrations are conducted.
