Bison Bookbinding & Letterpress is a print shop, bindery, & stationery store owned by wife-&-husband team Carly James & Kevin Nelson.

Since 2004, Bison has existed in a constant state of becoming, never shying away from transformation. We spent our early years as a job shop, producing hundreds of custom print projects & limited-edition books. We once had an in-house papermaking studio. We’ve hosted workshops, holiday bazaars, & live music events. We traveled the country selling our letterpress paper goods at craft shows & trade fairs. Nearly a thousand retailers have carried our products.

We closed during the pandemic, but recently reopened our freshly reimagined studio & stationery store. If you find yourself in the Pacific Northwest, come say hi.
