Press Girl Press is a small letterpress studio specializing in design, education, and professional practice. It is also the location for letterpress printing via the graphic design program at James Madison University. The press teaches art and design students the history of letterpress printing through a respect for the process, materials and methods and appreciation of the object. Like the advent of the arts and crafts movement, the professor provides the students with an apprentice type experience where designer and worker become one.

We are a young press with facilities consisting of 1 C&P Oldstyle press, 1 Kelsey Excelsior, and a limited amount of type. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
