The Letterpress Gang is a NSCAD Dawson Printshop users’ group, consisting of current students, alumni and the general public. We meet frequently (usually every week) to help maintain the collection and to organize events for letterpress awareness within the Halifax community.

Members of the LPG act as stewards for the Dawson Printshop and aim to protect the collection, educate the community, and create with type.

As a group we participate in events like Nocturne, Halifax Crafters, and Word on The Street. We also champion and support other letterpress lovers like Kyle Durrie of Movable Type, Amos Paul Kennedy Jr, and Inkwell Modern Handmade Boutique & Letterpress Studio.
