To kick it off for the first time, Carriage House will be opening its studio doors for a night of letterpress classes! Starting the evening of Sunday Nov. 9th three lucky peeps will get to sip vino and learn the precious art of letterpress printing.
Here are the deets:
When: 6:30-8:30 or whenever we want to leave!
Where: at the Carriage House studio space located in Hyde Park, Austin. (exact location to those who sign up)
What: A night of inspiring, creative talk, discussing the history of letterpress printingon a 12 x 18 Chandler & Price press.
You will take home 10 letterpresses coasters on 220 lb Crane Lettra Paper. (that you print!)
A little CHD booklet that includes history and information about letterpress as well as an area for you to take notes on and store your new wealth of letterpress knowledge and secrets.
**plus plenty of wine, cheese and yummy snacks :)
How Much: $120 for the night
Why: Why not!! How fun to go back to a time when we made things by hand and had the ink on us to prove it!
Great for an intimate group, grab two of your friends friends for birthday evening, or just to connect over a fun trade.
