type identification

Well, trying again to attach an image. I think I got it! If anyone could help me identify this recently acquired wood type, I sure would appreciate it!. I have leafed through my usual sources, and only came up with a loose comparison to Hamilton’s No. 657, class-O. The makers’ mark on the cap. A is Tubbs, from Mich.

Thanks very much!

I believe that it is Tubbs’ Half Gothic, No. 2234,

Dave Greer

Thanks, Dave, for pitching in and helping me put a name to the face! I was just leafing through Greg R.’s Art of Wood Type book: makes me want to go on the hunt for more!
