Women’s Studio Workshop Artists’ Books

Located in New York’s mid-Hudson Valley, Women’s Studio Workshop is renowned internationally for its printmaking, book arts, and hand papermaking residency programs and is recognized as the largest publisher of handmade artists’ books in the U.S.

Since 1974, WSW has provided almost two hundred artists, both emerging and established, with studio facilities and technical expertise to produce limited edition artists’ books. Currently the publishing program at WSW adds five new artists’ books each year.

WSW artists’ books are held in over 300 collections world-wide, with repositories at: Indiana University, The Library of Congress, Rochester Institute of Technology, University of Delaware, Vassar College, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Yale University.
