A Couple of Linotypes in North Carolina
I noticed a pair of Linotypes in North Carolina on that on-line auction service (you know who).
Too far for me, but it looks like that model 5 might be a good value, for a dollar.
The problem with these on-line sales is
1 You have to move ‘em.
2 No idea about available mats or magazines.
3 No idea about adjustment or overall condition.
These on-line sales surface maybe once every couple of months.

Our museum has the opportunity to acquire an Intertype that was once in use in our small town at our local paper. Does anyone know how much this unit weighs? We need to plan shoring for our floor.
