Ink smearing
Hi, I can figure out why my ink is smearing here. I’m on a C&P windmill and am using photopolymer plates. I’ve not encountered this issue before. I have added and lessened the ink. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

It looks like a plate issue, not so much an inking issue.
Without seeing the plate, I’m only guessing that the plate wasn’t properly processed, and/or was over exposed.
It could also be an issue where the film isn’t dense enough.

What is a C&P windmill?
I’d like to see a photo of the press.
Have had similar problem with a bad polymer plate, might also be rollers set too low, or out of round
