Kelsey Star 7x11 Press

Updated Feb 6, 2020:

I still have “Tucker” (see below) and I am offering this press to a non-profit organization, school, college art program, or similar as a donation. Only condition is you have to be able to provide a donation letter to me and you have to pickup from warehouse in Memphis TN. I value “Tucker” and his accompanying bits at $1,000.

“Tucker” is a Kelsey Star 7x11 Job Press that I rescued from a church basement. It has been completely gone over and has new motor, new belt, new rollers from Todd’s, timpan and packing, refinished front work board and hand painted gold accents. 2 chases. Steel trays for them too. It is in perfect working order. I still have the 1950’s GE motor used to ‘modify’ the press as well (doesn’t work).

I am looking to sell it or trade for tabletop or flatbed press in similar condition and price range. I will donate it to an appropriate non-profit as indicated above. I would rather trade for a tabletop press (good but does not need to be in perfect condition) in the $500-$750 range. If I donate it I would like maybe something in return equipment wise but open to discussion.

It is on a pallet in climate controlled warehouse and can be strapped down for moving. Dock access. Pickup or you handle freight for outright purchase.

$750 or trade and I will throw in a full set of type with spacing, some steel furniture, whatever. Make me an offer and if you are an organization please give me information about your program. If you would like to trade please send photos of what you have to trade.

Thanks!
