bolt out of alignment, what can I do?

Hi! I have just moved my tabletop press (Golding Official #6) and I’m not sure if the movers jostled it in the process… but it looks like a bolt in the back is went out of alignment, preventing the handle from going down. (and also making it really hard for me to reach)

I tried wedging a hard piece of plastic next to the bolt to try to push it but the bolt isn’t budging. I’m scared to try to wedge anything harder than a fork over there in case I might break something else. Would unscrewing the two screws on top help my case? (Not sure what that does, but didn’t want to touch it in case I would make more of a mess…) Or is there any nifty tool anyone might recommend for this?

Any tips would be super appreciated!

My advise is to lube the area. Take load off of the pin by moving the lever as best you can while pushing the pin back home with a twisting motion… using a large flat screwdriver.

Ahh that worked! I’m so relieved. Thanks so much Tom!

Am I seeing a set screw there in the pic with the arrow? It would tighten that pin?

One of the pins that holds the roller arm assembly is also working its way out on one side. You can see it in the last picture on the right side. It is moving inward and needs to be tapped back out so that it is flush. Movement of these pins is not uncommon. Tap it back before something really bad happens!
