Nice Kelsey 5x8 Table Top Press & Accessories

Kelsey Mercury 5x8 Model U letterpress printing press in good working condition. Kelsey’s were made in Meriden, CT, USA.This press includes-

a 5x8 chase, challenge key and 2pairs of coins, like new set of ink rollers, 40 various lengths and thicknesses of leading, New western typesetting 36pt San serif type (Univers?) comes in original package, a ink brayer roller, 12 pieces of various sizes of wood furniture, 3 pound bag of misc. spacing material. I also made a printed sample from the press ( in blue ink) and included it in the photo.

This is a nice table top press. It weighs 64 pounds and measures 18 tall ( includes inking plate attached) x 12 wide x 20 deep.

Also comes with a Kelsey Printer Guide Book (about 40 pages) that has a lot of great information on printing with this press. $800 (pick up in Kansas City).
