I have searched the books that I have and have come up blank.
Your help in identifying this typeface is much appreciated

A rough stone proof of some of it would be more reliable for identification and much easier to decipher. Roll on a bit of ink, lay a sheet of blank paper on the ink and a sheet of blotter paper or some other soft paper on top, then put a planer on the sandwich and tap it firmly with a mallet.
