Hello folks. Has anyone seen this typeface in any catalog?
I don’t recall seeing it, but I don’t have too much reference material.

Kind of answering my own question, the closest match I’ve found is Valiant by Edwin W. Shaar for Lanston Monotype in 1940.

There are some definite features that are shared, and the general style of the font, kind of a calligraphy stroke quality.

I’m inclined to think this is some sort of derivative work based on Valiant.

I would really appreciate if you could help me locating this wood type in any of your specimen catalogs.
