The C.L.A.G. is dedicated to preserving and exploring arts & education. We are built around the pressroom of the Mt. Enterprise Progress, a print shop set up by Silas t. Compton in Mt. Enterprise, TX.

We are dedicated to the preservation and use of the equipment in this workshop - thus acting as a studio or makerspace - while also supporting and facilitating other arts and trades. For example, we work with traditional carpentry, machining, fine arts, ceramics, and more. We also have a Museum aspect as well, and a stong community focus.

We are very close to Sam Houston State University and have interns with them, and we also work heavily with local organizations and galleries.
