Profile

The Hedgehog Press began in 1976 as a hobby press in the tradition of John Ryder’s “Printing for Pleasure”. After periods in Ilford, Leyton and Wivenhoe, I’m now back in Loughborough, Leicestershire, England.

The press is philatelic printer to the Kingdom of Adanaland and the Perfect State of Flatby, and produces a postcard periodical called “The Rambling Urchin”. I’m also currently co-ordinator for the collaborative production “It’s a Small World”, which has appeared annually since 1955.
