Xanadu Press was begun by Carole Hantke (Mullen) in 1969 in La Crosse, Wisconsin. I (Bob) become co-prprietor in 1974. It is again active in La Crosse, after 24 years in St. Louis, Missouri. We print small ephemera and booklets, primarily poetry, printing history and other pieces just for pleasure. We do not run a commercial press. We have an 8x12 C&P, 7x11 Pearl, and over 800 fonts of type, much of it from the 19th century and very early 20th century in our basement shop. Member of APA.
