Norton, David

I am willing to help, mentor, tutor, or whatever. I supervised a university typographic laboratory for 39 years, teaching letterpress all of that time and offset for the last 15 years or so. I presently have a basement shop with more than 650 fonts of antique type and more presses than I can use but they’re antiques and I can’t bear to get rid of them. We’re at the above address about 5-1/2 months a year but try to check e-mail at least once a week and in the summer can get back to town in about an hour.

This might be a silly question, because you said you have alot of presses, but do you have any interest in purchasing any other presses or equipment?

Hello,
I don’t see an e-mail but I am not located to far from Syracuse and was wondering if we could set up a time for some letterpress “tutoring”. I am relatively new to it (1.5years) and would love to work with an experienced pressman like yourself! Feel free to e-mail me if you are still doing this!

Thank you

Wow are you the guy from SU who used to borrow my large Ludlow mats? Still have them and a Ludlow that I have yet to connect.
