Mt. Tam Press

(Editor’s note: We have been informed that Jeff Craemer has donated his printing collection, including the Union Press, to the International Printing Museum .)

One of the largest privately-owned non-working printing press collections in the United States. The collection currently consists of 25 antique presses. Included in the collection is the only known Union Press, built in 1826 and used during the presidency of John Quincy Adams. The press was on display at the Smithsonian from 1980 to 1983.
