I currently work on a Harris M200 web press, we get some print media there and one of them had an article about a movie coming out later this year called Seven Pounds. It stars Will Smith and Rosario Dawson. In the movie Rosario is a book artist and she runs a couple of old presses in her garage. The movie company rented the presses and equipment from the Print Museum in CA. This article has got me intrigued and a bit fascinated with this form of art. I have started checking out you-tube videos on old presses and letterpress stuff. So being new to this, where do I start? Any info and ideas would be awesome!

Find a local letterpress group and spend some time with them learning everything you can. In time it’ll be second nature to you and you’ll be looking for a press for you own garage ;)
