Frontier Print Shop

The Sharlot Hall Museum is the largest museum in the central territory of Arizona, and is dedicated to providing educational adventures in human and natural history. The Frontier Print Shop is part of the living history program and exhibits housed at the Museum.  This print shop represents a small job/newspaper shop of the Arizona territorial period, 1863-1912. Some presses used in this shop are of the 1860s. If you can’t visit the print shop in person, visit the web site for a short history and description of presses and equipment found in a typical print shop of that period.
