Can take up to four students at a time for introduction to setting type; Single or multi-color linocut making; Printing on a platen press or on a Vandercook style press; Bookbinding case style or on cords and making of a clamshell box; Introduction to casting type on any one of three casting machines: Super Caster, Composition Caster or Thompson Caster; For the ambitious, the making of a pattern and a matrix which the student will then use to cast an original type ornament. These are workshops totalling 14 hours over two days. Reasonable B&B accommodation within a short walk.
