Raven Press at the University of Delaware is a faculty/student operated expermental press devoted to letterpress, typography and bookbinding commited to broadening the experience of our students and contributing to the rest of the university through design and history. The press is set up with 3 Vandercooks and a R. Hoe (Washington) style hand press, 100 cases of metal type and 3500 pieces of wood type.

The Deparment of Art consists of a student body of 350-400 students who study in any number of diciplines that consists of foundations, typography, bookmaking, graphic and advertising design, illustration, interactive media, photography, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics and painting.
