Eidolon Press

Eidolon Press is a small letterpress print shop and bindery. We are situated in the quaint little town of Crested Butte, Colorado, an historic district in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. The shop is located at 202 1/2 Elk Avenue in the newly renovated “icehouse” building. We print by hand on an 8 X 15 Chandler & Price treadle press, and a 7 X 12 C&P pilot press. We provide the finest in quality and design, utilizing papers from France , Italy and Germany, and fonts handset from our humble collection of hot metal type. All books are bound by hand using the finest materials available.
