Dave and Beth Seat are the best!

My SP-15 that was battered and bruised in shipping last winter (lengthy discussion at briarpress.org/16448) is now up and running, thanks to these lovely folks who spent the day at my house yesterday performing magical surgery on it. They were patient, persistent and most pleasant. A lot needed fixing, and they fixed a lot.

(For anyone who may not know: The Seats criss-cross the country to work on machines such as Ludlows, Linotypes and Vandercooks, bringing their rare expertise to the rest of us — for which I am very grateful! Their website is hotmetalservices.com.)
