Historic Cold Spring Village

This vintage Print Shop is located in an 1830 building in Historic Cold Spring Village, a living history museum that portrays the daily life of a rural South Jersey community. The printer, Merrill Miller hand sets vintage type and does lockup.
Printing for various Village buildings is done using a standing iron proof press. Everyday production is on an 1890 C&P treadle press. Also on view and in use is an early Golding padding press along with other period equipment of a by-gone era. Interpreters and artisans in period clothing preserve the trades & heritage of the Early American period.
