Early Adana

I have an early Adana platen which differs from the normal 8x5. It is a larger machine and has an ink duct and a chase size with an inside measurement of 8 1/2 x 5 1/2. This means it will take a 48em x 32em image using small quoins. It has a serial number of 1999, but so far I haven’t been able to date it.
I have attached an image showing it alongside my standard 8 x 5 has anyone any ideas?

Thanks, that is the model in question, the HS/3.
The chase is 238 x 161mm externally This makes the internal chase size just over 8.5 x 5.5 inches.
Personally, partly because of the extra space in the chase and the more powerful inking system , I think this machine is superior to the 8x5. I can’t think why it was only produced in relatively small numbers. But this does explain why there aren’t many of them about.
I’ll keep my eye on the market, it may become a collectors piece?
