Need help identifying this….
Hello all, I am new to letterpress, and greener than green. I have been looking for an element for a while, that I call a flourish. Not sure what to “officially call it”. I have seen it on several sites online, but cannot find it as a stand alone file. I need a fairly high quality version to do some vector art with it.
Any help finding this is truly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Flourish sounds about right. As for a vector, if that is the exact one you are looking for, that low res version could easily be put into Illustrator and traced with the pen tool to create a perfect vector file.
Thanks megahurt. I don’t mind tracing it at all. I was hoping to find a whole series of these. They are very popular with my clientele right now, and I haven’t found a good source for high quality ones yet.
Thank you!
Adios,
Aaron
I would agree with megahurt and create your own/trace in Illustrator…if not check out:

to purchase “Flourish” series.
Good Luck. Denise
Hi, that exact ornament appears in the Adobe Wood Type Ornaments 2 font. If you have the font you can simply type in that character and convert it to outlines in Illustrator or InDesign and then you have it as a stand alone vector file.
Hope that helps!
