letterpresss ink - where to buy? how to mix colors?
From a few weeks I bought and printed on Adana 8x5. Till now I printed basic colors that I got with the machine (red and black). I live in Poland and I have problems with buying a letterpress inks - my question is - where do I buy (internet shops) letterpress inks and how to mix colors? I need the turquoise color - how to obtain it?

You need to first get a pantone guide or some other guide with formulas for mixing colors. Find your color and then the base colors that make up that color. Turquoise is probably process blue, green, and transparent white as base colors.

As how to mix colours, buy yellow, magenta, black, transparent white and opaque white. With that you can obtain millions of colours and forget the whole Pantone circus for now. You might be able to find a book (even a book on painting techniques) in which the basic principles of mixing colours will be explained.
