Craftsman press… how much?
At a local fair, a gentleman asked me for an estimated price on the attached Craftsman press: 7.75”x12.75” platen, good working order. Any input would be appreciated.

These presses called the Superior by Craftsmen Machinery Co. are copies of the C&P Pilot. They are well built, and very usable presses. Because they are not the best known brand, they often bring just a little less. Restored, a Superior could bring $3000. More often these presses sell between $200 - $1500. It all depends on location, completeness, roller quality, immediate usability.
