need some advice for restoring rusted presses
I have a couple old C & P’s at my parents house, and I acquired them rusty, and would like to get them going so I can see if they print well. My expectations aren’t super high, because they have been exposed to weather for a bit, but I’m wanting to get them going in the next year to test them out. I’m pretty sure I will have to sandblast them to start with. Any advice or suggestions? Thanks!!

Definitely search the threads here, as this has come up before. Some people have suggested that sand-blasting is too rough for a press restoration, and recommend shell blasting.
